Field service software for electrical contractors

Electrical service work depends on sending the right person: someone with the right skills for the job, close enough to get there on time. CRMTX gives your office one place to create the job, pick the technician, follow the visit and send the invoice.

Work orders with the details electricians need

Each work order records the client, site address, job description, priority and trade, with room for the client’s own reference number and a DNE (do not exceed) amount. Attach panel photos, drawings or other documents so the technician arrives prepared.

  • Set priority and an SLA time in hours for urgent calls
  • Filter the work order list by status, client or technician
  • Export the list to Excel or CSV

Dispatch by skill and location

Technician profiles store skills and certifications. The Tech Finder map searches for technicians near the job address within a radius and filters them by skill, and shows who is available, busy or on a job. Drag jobs on the scheduling calendar to reschedule or reassign them in month, week or list view.

Track the job from arrival to completion

Statuses such as Dispatched – Confirm ETA, Pending Tech Arrival and Tech Onsite show where each visit stands. Technicians check in and out and upload photos from the Tech Portal in their phone’s browser. If a job stalls, Materials Needed, Pending Part Delivery, On Hold and Escalated Dispatch make the reason visible to the whole office.

Source parts near the job

The Local Supplier Finder plots electrical distributors and parts stores around the job site on a map with driving routes, and Parts Lookup compares prices across multiple suppliers.

A full record of every job and client

Each client profile keeps contact details, site addresses and service history, so the office can see past work before booking the next visit. Every change to a work order is written to the activity log, showing who did what and when, and office staff can discuss a job in the built-in team chat.

Quote, invoice and get paid

Send a quote for additional work and hold the job in Pending Quote Approval until the client approves it. When the work is complete, create the invoice from the work order, download the PDF and record payment. Reports break down revenue, technician performance and job completion for the period you choose.
